Gamblitude predictive models

Responsible Gambling Risk Detection for iGaming.

Give your RG team
a clearer basis for review.

Bring behavioural indicators and player history together to focus player-protection assessment. Define which signals deserve a closer look and how they fit your existing RG process.

An operator-specific implementation, scoped with your RG and data teams.

01 / A focused player-protection assessment

Start with the question
your team needs to answer.

Responsible Gambling Risk Detection is designed to help RG teams identify patterns that warrant closer assessment. The implementation brings selected behavioural indicators together with an agreed risk or review-priority assessment.

The approach may combine defined rules, predictive modelling and supporting player context. We establish the method, output and evaluation around your data and the decisions your team needs to make.

02 / Read the pattern in context

Bring the signals together.
Keep the context visible.

A useful assessment connects what has changed with the history around it. Design the review around the information your team needs to understand why a pattern merits attention.

Across signals

Look at
the wider pattern.

Consider how selected indicators relate to one another. The aim is to support a coherent assessment of the player’s behaviour rather than leave the team with disconnected flags.

Over time

Put change
in perspective.

Examine the sequence of activity and the relevant historical context. Agree which changes matter to the review and over what observation period.

For the reviewer

Make the basis
for review clear.

Define which underlying activity and context should accompany an assessment. Give the RG team a practical basis for deciding what needs further investigation.

03 / A clear purpose for the signal

Player protection
sets the priority.

RG assessment serves a different purpose from commercial player-value or churn analysis. Its priorities should follow player-protection needs, independently of a player’s revenue or VIP status.

Keep RG risk out of promotional targeting. Define how protective decisions, access permissions and relevant restrictions are handled by the teams and systems involved.

04 / A broad feature store

Many signals.
A considered selection.

Gamblitude’s feature store brings together attributes describing how players arrive, engage, transact and use your products. These families provide a foundation for model development; each implementation uses the selection relevant to its purpose and available evidence.

05 / The history behind the assessment

Know what the data meant
at the time.

A player’s current account status may not show the status that applied when earlier activity took place. The same applies to transaction histories that retain only a final state.

The data review establishes which histories can be reconstructed, which definitions are consistent and where gaps need to be addressed. This gives the assessment and its evaluation a reliable starting point.

06 / Individually built for every operator

Built for your players.
Grounded in your history.

Every operator has a different player base, market and product mix. Each Gamblitude machine learning model is built individually and trained on that operator’s historical data.

For an RG implementation, we first agree the assessment target and review the available evidence. That determines how defined indicators and any predictive model should work together, and how the result will be evaluated.

Your player population.

Understand the behaviour and historical context available in your operation.

Your market and products.

Shape the assessment around the environment in which your players engage.

Your RG process.

Define the review question, responsibilities and evidence needed to assess whether the approach is useful.

07 / From assessment to follow-up

Fit the signal
to the team’s work.

Define the assessment, review process and follow-up together, with clear responsibilities at each stage.

  1. Define the review question.

Agree what the team needs to recognise, which players are in scope and what evidence matters.

  2. Design the assessment.

Review the data, select indicators and establish the scoring or prioritisation approach.

  3. Support professional review.

Agree where the result appears and what context accompanies it.

  4. Connect the response.

Define the systems, responsibilities and controls for appropriate follow-up under the operator’s RG process.

  5. Evaluate and refine.

Review the quality of selections, operational workload and subsequent outcomes.

08 / Evaluate the assessment and the response

Build evidence
around the decisions.

Assessment quality

Does it focus
attention usefully?

Evaluate missed cases, unnecessary alerts and the information available to reviewers. Where the assessment predicts a future outcome, test it on periods separate from those used to develop the model.

Operational use

Can the team
act on the result?

Assess whether the delivery, timing and review volume fit the RG process. Examine the evidence available for a decision and any gaps in follow-up.

Response outcomes

What happened
after action was taken?

Review subsequent behaviour and the outcome of the response separately from the original risk assessment. Identifying a concern and establishing the effect of an intervention require different evidence.

The practical details

Responsible Gambling

Your questions.

The scope, evidence and process behind an operator-specific implementation.

Is this a standard model ready to switch on?

This is an individually scoped implementation. We agree the assessment approach, deliverables, validation and delivery plan after reviewing your data and intended RG workflow.

How would it work with our existing RG rules?

Your existing process is the starting point. Evaluation establishes where additional indicators or modelling may help, which rules remain appropriate and how the assessment should support professional review.

What data is needed?

We review the available behavioural and transactional history, relevant account context and data quality. Historical changes matter as well as current values. The final selection and history requirements follow the assessment target and evaluation plan.

What would a risk score mean?

Its meaning depends on the agreed target, method and validation. A review-priority score is not automatically a probability of harm, and a behavioural risk assessment is not a clinical diagnosis.

How quickly would the assessment update?

The schedule depends on the RG team’s review needs, the availability of source data and the delivery method. The cadence is agreed as part of the implementation scope.

Would it automatically contact, limit or restrict a player?

Those actions require a defined operational workflow and the relevant system integration. The implementation scope establishes responsibilities and controls; a risk assessment alone does not execute an intervention.

Does it guarantee regulatory compliance?

It supports a defined part of the operator’s player-protection process. Applicable requirements and the wider controls remain the operator’s responsibility; an assessment or score is not a guarantee of compliance.

How would we measure whether it helps?

Evaluate the quality of the selections, missed cases, unnecessary alerts and the workload created. Then examine follow-up and subsequent outcomes to assess how the signal supports the team’s decisions and responses.
